Storm Head Lightning

Wow - these certainly show the coming of a huge storm. I would have posted them in sequence of saturation intensity: the 2nd 1st, the 1st 2nd etc - in that way there is a progression to the dark side

With all the storm activity this week there has been a lot of great cloud formations, you've found a great example with the bonus of very moody lighting too. Nice shots, where this taken once you were over Clyde mountain (Great dividing range) but before you got to Braidwood ?

Yere, that does sound about right. I think we were about 10km outside of Braidwood. It was the first place we could stop with a good view without trees in the road. Sweeping left hand corner (heading towards Braidwood), and clearing.
