Its good to see the old lake with water in her again. I quite like the skiing photos, shame the subject is a tad dark in them. Were you matrix metering? Beautiful place and collection.
Cheers

Were you matrix metering?
yeh i was using matrix, should i be or shouldnt i be, I have others where the subject is exposed correctly, but its kinda hard to get a good metering when you bouncing around in the back of a speedboat only a couple of inches away from the water, not wanting to loose the camera

These were just the ones that interested me the most.

#3, #6 and #7 are standouts for me. Love the little birdy, kind of reminds me of a cartoon with it's pose and cheeky attitude.
#6 and #7, I guess I'm just a sucker for a nice reflection, personally #6 works a little better due to the light and also more interesting geography.
The action shots didn't really grab me, not sure why.

G'day,
Great to see the lake looking good again, looks like you had a ball
Loved #2, makes me think of two mates goin' fishin'... #3 (the boid) looks sharp as! I'd be tempted to crop the top and bottom of #6 to make a pano out of it...

I like the pano. I didn't know Eildon had water in it. I just thought it was a mud bath.

That's the beauty of a constructive forum like this, there's always someone with either an idea or a different view
Cheers.

Eildon can produce some spectacular shots at sunrise/sunset. Although we didn't really get to see the sunset I don't think at the Doon because of the bloody hill on the opposite side of the lake that always used to block it!
