Boo - Halloween festivities

Went to a party over the weekend and found a willing subject for a halloween shot that I got off before the night turned into a horribly drunken affair involving home brew.
Halloween, whilst generally annoying and "American" can also be alot of fun.

We just had some halloween fun... the same kids who kick there footballs and stuff into our flower garden and break plants and such came door knocking.. with my old man being on a bit of my home brew (rum) he was slightly more ready for them.. so when they yelled "Halloween!! trick or treat!!" he replied with "Halloween? thats american... F*#*# Off!"

Zeeke, you don't live next door but one from us do you?
We have some annoying kids that do the same to our flower garden. What's most retarded is that about 100M from our house is school ground with lots of ground space for footy plus they have a basketball court. Instead they chose to kick their football all over the court and usually into most of the neighbours gardens.

As for Halloween being an American traditional. Think again.
It originated in Europe (although I think other cultures aswell such as South American celebrated something similar but it might of not been until much later) and has been celebrated there a lot longer than it has in America. It's just you'll find that a lot of America was made up of European settlers and such the traditions went with them.

its a big neighbourhood... spanning from queensland to melbourne...
we have a similar situation... got a park only 100 meters away with a massive field.. but instead they choose to play football infront of our house... and ride there motorbikes up and down the road.. then yell and scream all day during the holidays...

Leigh, that's probably what I'm thinking of. Could be wrong, I just know the South American/Mexican name for it is what you just called it.
