This bloke reminded me of the Karate Kid.
I think my post processing may have gone a bit far, any comments?

Another Pelican picPhoto was taken at Evans Head this afternoon not long after the rain had stopped and the birds were still trying to dry out.

Cool photo - almost looks like a statue !!! It is definitely something out of the ordinary, and worth keeping. Have you tried going back and not sharpening quite so much?

Thank you all for your feedback.
jethro's comment had me tossed, he was right the image looked over sharpened. But I didn't sharpen it..... ![]() blacknstormy - I will try the B&W on this and a few others from the day. The sky was mostly dull and the images lack contrast, B&W maybe there salvation, thanks. Cheers - Greg ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I love the pose Greg. Its almost looking at you with a 'what you looking at?' eyeball.
As for the treatment of the image - yep looks a little strange. What ISO were you shooting at that you decided to use noise reduction? I take it you have added contrast, but not too much IMHO Post some more images. Craig
JordanP - Thanks for your comments m8. The ISO was 800, no real need for noise reduction I just wanted to play with my new filter
![]() Your right about the contrast I played with levels and curves. Will post more soon ![]() ![]() Cheers - Greg ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
