Wellington Cannon

Here’s another shot from my trusty Kodak LS443 P&S taken a year ago in Wellington, NZ, only days before I bought my D70.

My daughter can never resist a good climb and this cannon sat still long enough to provide the perfect opportunity.

Comments appreciated.

I like it, it's an interesting angle and composition with the innocence of a young girl balancing on the edge of an old weapon. Wonder if some added vignetting(sp?) might strengthen the grainy, old image feel...

Not quite that long Bernie..but it has been a while. I'm off now to see if I can snap some frogs or suchlike around my local waterholes. Have to give my mate BlacknStormy a run for her money..

Thanks for your comments too, Andrew. I'll give your suggestion a whirl tomorrow and see how it looks. I concur with your spelling as well! :D
