Just been playing around with the 200mm + extension tubes around at oneputts tonight great colours hey :D

You two guys are bastards. These are bloody awesome. What 200mm lens - a prime or the 70-200 VR?

I also don't think you're giving us the whole story either. I assume these wre taken with the new D2x, but you must have used some interesting lightin too. Now you've teased us, please share :wink: :lol:

Stubby's :lol: nothing flash here just one down light in john's kitchen a D2x + nikon 200mm Macro + one set of extension tubes no flash just the natural light in john's house,even i was taken with the colours at first, i did up the sat by + 5 & smart sharpen at 150/0.3/0 resize & USM sharpen at 10/20/0

Tubes wetre cheapies made by Triplus, 12mm,20mm and a 36mm used together. The results are really good Kevin. :D

Even more impressive Kevin. The PP would have given a bit of zing, but this is very impressive with household lighting.

Inspirational viewing. The relief and detail is excellent, the colours subtle and pleasant. It makes me want to shoot more macros!

Kevin absolutely glorious images. My word how sharp is that 200mm micro!! No wonder it's on my hit list (and if an Italian says that about something then it better watch out) for when i win gold lotto!! :lol:

WOW! Imagine them printed large on 100% rag paper, matted with museum board and professionaly framed. What a series! $2500 worth easy!
