nice mate, definetly a keeper. That lens has got a nice DOF, pretty pricey for a portrait lens though :D

I take it mum likes the photo too?

Thanx for the comments mate.
Mum and Dad are very happy with it :)
The 70-200VR is a very versatile lens and as I'm fortunate enough to have an assistant (Bel) she can be a far distance off from the immediate shoot getting some nice candids without being obtrusive etc. The 70-200 is also awesome for church shots as seen recently by Vince.

that's a great capture and an awesome memory!

i'd crop away that post (?) and a little bit of the sides... make it a black and white, and then hang it on my wall for all to see....

cheers

Ditto Paul, great bokeh and an enviously sharp lens kit. Definetly a keeper Geoff enjoy the glass and the memories it produces. Well done!
cheers
