Willy, I like the saturation but I agree about the sharperning, most shots I took that day were long exposures and the tripod i was using is to small and was moving around a bit, hence the need for sharperning. Now own a Man 055 tripod

Regarding tripods .... there are too many threads on that topic already, but when you're ready, we're ready and able to help you choose something that you'll find very usable.

Re the saturation, try saturating different areas like the foliage more than the rocks and you can get away with stronger sat than you otherwise could, or selectively choose which colours and things to add the sat too...

Marysville is a beautiful area isn't it? If you like waterfalls, then check out Cora Lyn Falls, a wonderful spot and very photogenic, only a short walk too, only 2-3 k return through some magic forest settings...

Love it, always wanted one but was out of $$ range, but got one from NewZealand for about 50% less than could get it in Melbourne, my second choice was the D70

Where do I start, in no order
Its tough, I'm rough on gear.
Weather sealing and dust shaker on CCD, I can change lens in most conditions (with reason).
Great Jpg straight out of the camera with great colour repoduction, doesn't blow out reds either.
2 lens can cover 28-300 (and the kit len are very good), 14-45 is a bit soft at 45.
A good range of quality lens ( a bit on the dear side though)
Quite operation
I could go on, but I'm proberly boring you
there are a few thing I dont like either
Mirror lock buried in menu
no iso indication on lcd
dear lens
everybody picks on me for having a Olympus E1

Thanks but OK with Tripod got a Manfrotto 055 the other day.

I assume CoraLyn Marysville area, there is a CoraLyn in the Otways behind Lorne too

Yep, the link here will help with location etc... Beautiful spot, couple of lyrebirds even wandered across the path on the way there... Go through Marysville, to the round-about at the end then turn right and stay on the main road for a few k's (10'ish?), there'll be a small gravel car park on your left, and follow the painted bear prints(!) across the road to the start of the walk... Fantastic driving road through some stunning scenery too, when I went there, every 2nd or 3rd vehicle was either a bike or a sports car going for a blat.
