Well the weekend was sunny down here and I finally have my new sigma 70-200 2.8 so it was off to find something to shoot. I ended up at the Moto X and had a play with the lens and some different settings...

Came away happy, although due to the bright sun I had some exposure problems... Random images were very dark and occasionaly, especially after a group of 4 or 5 rapid... the last one would be really over exposed.

Oh and we had a great orange moon here last night, so out with the sigma again, I know I need a bit more range for this, so I cropped and downloaded the Flood plug-in I keep seeing!

Nice shots.

#1 Great capture but the horizon is slanted, straightening it will put the bike on more of an angle and might add to it?

#2 Excellent shot.

#3 Another great shot showing more action, and the way the track leads in from the top left and out the bottom right is perfect, Definately my favourite.

Like the moon but am not sure about the water treatment, looks too fake to me???

Cheers

Good shots Jonesy, on my iBook the first 2 look a tad soft, but maybe it's my eyes? Like the moon effect.
