Another version. Same location, slightly different perspective. More detail in the foreground.

The more I stare at the full sized version of this image the more i fall in love with it.

I like the 2nd Willy,
I think I can see Merlin walking over the mist
& Excallibur sticking up in the background.

Willy - second one is much nicer, although I'm not fully sure why. I think it's because there's more of the scene shown. The first one is a little too close, and doesn't really show much other than the water - while the second gives you more of a feeling of being there. I also find the first a bit dark.
I think that's it - am sure others will put this much more elequantly

Thanks guys - Sheepie - I hear where you are coming from and when i compare the images i can see that they are quite different in their qualities. I also prefer the second one. Like i said full sized version has a mesmerising quality (perhaos it is the booze?).
Anyway - last pic from this series - something a little different. Bit of
PS work.

I like the second one best, there isn't enough detail/colour in the areas outside of the water in the first one for me...
Third one is an interesting crop - I'd have gone a bit tighter around the right since the dark area on the right doesn't really add anything, unlike the rocks at the bottom which balance the bright white foam at the top of the image...

I like the 2nd shot better and just a tip from what I've found my personal tastes seem to like. Try and get more of the surrounds (eg. greenery) as I don't think the silk effect of the water should be the only thing on display.

I think the second one is excellent. Well done!!! It has more colour and captures your imagination more.

Nice work Willy! 2nd shot really does look like a postcard shot. Keep it up.
