I wanted to get out with the lens as I hadn't had much of a chance to use it much yet..here's what I got: (comments welcomed)

Like the dog photo!
Not sure about the flowers! Focus appears to the outer edge of them? Or it could just be my eyes...

Dog photo rocks (awww...)... one complaint is resize!!!
Flower photo seems too dark on my monitor... might look good as a monochromatic though.
Still, good work and a great showing of your new baby!
