Nice shots!

Definately like the second one the best!
The first needs the horizon straightened alittle, but still a great shot.

Scott thanks , i am shocking with horizons, need to pay more attention in the initial capture point, and have ordered a new focus screen with gridlines on it for the D2X, this ''SHOULD'' help !!!

They are both great shots nikon Boy. The first has a little human with inanimate object element with the pilot (i guess) caressing the wing tip of the beast - 'The Partnership'
The second's colour rendition has a vibrancy you have captured well.
cheers
marco

Marco thanks for the comments ,actually the first pic is of the pilot with the Aircraft, he has a microphone in his hand giving a commentary to an assembled bunch of Aviation nuts !

These are great shots, so crystal clear and sharp...mind me asking if you did any PP on them?

WHy do I always like the "other" one. #1 does it for me because you've got the pilot in frame gazing off into the distance. Gives the shot more character and context.

Stubbsy, i reckon you have a point there, i do often try to include the human element

The P51 is a wonderful machine and i'd love to own one to fly around. Great pics, great timing with the rainy thing (although not rare in Melbourne :) ) and really nice subject matter all combined to give me a FFFWWHHOOOAARRRR....

Nikon boy - the second for me. I like the colour contrast of the sky: with

the reflection in the water, a much darker blue, well done.

Wow! These are great, I like the first with the human element in the image, but the colour in the second one is stunning.

Immediately after heavy rain is a fantastic time for clarity of the air, great images!

While the first shot has the human element I really like the lighting in the second shot far better.
