Went to the local jumps this arfternoon to get some pics of my mates in the air. these are a couple that i came away with.

Edit: just bumped up the contrast of the first pic, looked a little washed out before hand.

First one is great, love the dust trail, but he gets a bit lost in the trees. Maybe some fill flash to bring him out more? For the second one, the underexposure isn't quite enough to be a silhouette; IMO you need to go one way or the other on this one, have the rider properly exposed (probably needs fill flash) or have the rider totally underexposed for a silhouette effect. Ooh there's a 3rd one now! Same critique as the second, but I like the panning!

Thanks for the tips. I currently dont have a nice big flash and i dont think that the built in flash will have produced enough fill to make a difference. I really need to get my hands on a SB-600 dont have the cash at the moment though
