Here are a few birds I took today. Some cropping, but very little else by way of PP.

I would love some feedback!

Stick across the ibis's face isnt so great but that peacock shot - wow - top composition. Emu may have been better with a darker background to get better contrast.

Oh and nice cock :? erm rooster

The peacock has great impact with such a tight crop, lovely colour; and the close-up of the emu is also good. The others don't have quite the same drawing power.

I think the ibis would have been better from a slightly different angle to avoid the obstructions, and the ducks and rooster suffer mostly from being taken at the standing position rather than a lower viewpoint.

But I think you could hang the peacock on your wall. :D

My choice is the emu. Maybe though, exposure could be dropped a little (looks a tad bright to me) and try to get a little more contrast in his/her head.

Thanks for tsking the time to comment - much appreciated!

I found the emu difficult to photograph. To correctly expose its head and neck made the eyes very dark, to the point of not seeing any of the colour.

Unfortunately that was the best position I could get to for the ibis shot. I did try cloning out the stick, but gave up!

The colourings in the peacock appear quite flat after posting. I'm not sure why, because they looked much more vivid in NC and PS.

Thanks again for your comments. :) :) :)
