What PP did you apply ?
And also if I may: what camera settings ?
The VR plus the TC17E is a ripper, isn't it.
Did you crop the photo or was this one straight out of the camera ?
(I assume the photo is very much straight out of the camera, minimal or no crop ?)

It has been cropped, minimal USM and that is all. It was good straight out of the camera. 1/320 sec at f8. Apeture priority.

Wow, that is sharp! Clearly shows the beauty of the optics.

Now, if someone could donate me a few thousand dollars for the lens, I promise I would post pictures here everyday!
