No probs Kerry - very nice pics - sharp and contrasty. I am sure I saw that bird last week over the Sydney harbour bridge with a suitecase in its beak

Nice shots kerry. I nearly bought the sigma 100-300 F/4 when I was looking at adding to my reach but then the 80-400VR won out. My next outlay perhaps, apart from the D200 when it arrives, will be the Canon closeup filter you so ably use.

The 80-400 is the most versatile lens out there, IMO. Shooting macro with it and the 500d can be a challenge, but it's lots of fun.
