Hi Jonesy - um.....not sure about this one. There's something about the foreground that doesn't work for me. I am too much of a beginner to put my finger on the reason for this, in fact as the image was loading i thought that they were sitting in breaking waves! I soon realised that this was not the case however.
I am looking forward to reading some other peoples take on this so I too can learn....

Thanks for the comment. I find it very hard to critique my own photos that's why I really rely on the honest views of the forum.

I think some judicious cropping might help with this one but it may be that it just doesn't do it for people which is fair enough..

Hey Jonesy,

I'm thinking the foreground is to hot for me. I like the idea... but yeah I think its the foreground being to hot and the backfround being to dark.

Also the i think angle is off. Maybe if the 'fam' were a bit higher up on the hill so there is less water before seeing the other side.

Thats simply my thoughts, I might be way off!
