This was one of those grab the camera and shoot situations. Wish the 400 had have been on the camera.

Mudder the bird was sitting on top of a channel marker. I was just about focussed when he took off

Oneputt,
For me it is a Bobby Dazzler and a longer lens may well have denied the bird the advantage of context. I'd be chuffed to have taken it.
