Hi Doug. Really nice tones in this image, however it looks to me like there is something missing from the foreground. Nice colours and tones though.
Cheers, Owen.
Hi Doug, Balmoral can be a fantastic place to take photos from, good image with a "coolness/calm" about it. The little touch of light leads into the photo well.
You should try an early morning shot with the Balmoral Bathouse sometime
Doug,
A really nice calmness in this shot..... like owen mentioned maybe a sailboat or something in the forground could of provided some forground interest... but we can't just magic them up.....
I really like this one Doug. Something very mysterious about it and the light on Manly head really makes it great.
The exposure I find particulary intersting. Can you show us the EXIF and tell me what time of the evening it was? Thanks Regards
Jonesy
LostDingo - Thanks for your comment, I'd like to do early morning shots, but I tend to be lazy. I think now it's getting warmer, I'll be able to get out of bed much more easily.
![]() Craig, thanks for your comment. ![]() ![]() Jonesy, it was actually darker than this in real life. I could just make out the heads through a kind of blue haze. When I darken this image, I can see it as it was. It was taken tonight at 6:38pm, 20 sec @ f/8, iso 200. I'm pleased you like it. ![]() Doug C.
