I think I need to do some monitor calibration. These look a touch darker in this post (when I previewed it) than they do originally.

The top one does look a little dark to me - I think you could bring out the colours and shadow with some pp (but I am certainly no expert!).
I really like the second one but would like to have seen her whole foot in the shot. It's an interesting picture. Very cute little feet!
