I'm very flattered Craig - they are fantastic effects that almost make me look like a half decent photographer! I love what you've done with, I assume, the Flaming Pear "Flood" plugin?

Only advice I can give is DRINK MORE RED; it seems to be working well!

yep it is the flaming pear 'flood' plugin. I then extended the water using the healing brush and a bit of blur and smudge - then used the burn tool to make your shirt and the water edges look wet.

It was fun!

yep, that plug in is a freebie.... I will try and find where I got it from. I think it was big pix that introduced us to the link quite some time ago... not sure

Yes - I noticed the level of detail you went to and it really sells the effect. Excellent result!

I work with a guy who's a highly-regarded wildlife photographer and writer so I'll have to show him this to score some brownie points. He runs twice-yearly Photography Weeks at Binna Burra and knows the place like the back of his hand so he'll probably recognise that tree!

Thanks mate, that would be good to have play with, if not email it to me mate. Yeh that #2 pic would look so great if he didnt have his back pack on, but yeh great.

Very nice PP work Craig... but as BBJ implied - I think his packed lunch might be a little soggy...

The art of deception has to be done with finesse, otherwise it does not stand up. When I first looked at pic #2 I thought, what kind of idiot would immerse himself in water like that for a pic.

Perhaps you could do another version of the wildlife one, with the tip of a croc's snout coming into the photo from the bottom right corner ?

I hope Chris doesn't think I am the sort of 'idiot' that would immerse himself like this in deep water to get a shot. That'd be stupid. I'd take my pack off first. I'll have a go at anything but feeding my lunch to the crocs, eels, turtles, sharks or piranha is just not on.
