Hi redline,

bus stop ? (is it really a bus stop ?) BTW what does (IR) mean ?
IMHO the photo has something to it.
Some solitary great bench in some great surroundings.
A spot to contemplate things and to resynch with life.
IMHO I find it a little too dark though.

Thanks for the image.

more like a misplaced bus stop as the bridge is closed.

I like it too Redline but would also like to see the bus stop cloned out to just see the bench - a bench to nowhere

nice composition
very underexposed shot though....

maybe you could have metered off the bench, or just bumped up your exposure comp b/c of the bright sky....

This I really like, the over-grown grass, the bus stop(?) in the middle of no-where... like a ghost town sort of feeling...

Out of curiosity, wonder if the image would look even more lonesome if from a slightly different angle to exclude the pole beside the bench...? Is it local to you?

Cheers,
Mudder

thanks guys,
i thought the bent pole kinda gave the image an errie feeling. i did try to leave it out, but it didn't work out too well cos the bg spoiled the shot.

Yes Andrew,
its a very local 4kms to where i live i might give it another try later today.
