So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. Lazy Friday afternoon
On the way home, on a high as I had my new R1800 printer in the boot, the moorings in the creek caught my eye as a photo op so had to stop and have a play.
I liked the serenity of the scene. Hope it does the same for you. The printer is awesome, noticeable improvement over the six year old 1220c which wasn't shabby, but technology marches on. 
And here are a couple of trees that were nearby.

LOVE the first shot. The serenity that this photo sets is tranquil and hmm..just beautiful. It was a sight for sore eyes, I'm at work at the moment...I won't tell you what I've been dealing with for the last 2 hours as you'd probably be eating brekky when reading this hehe. well done. I have the R1800 too...I get excited whenever I use it, sad really  Geoff

The first one is great, and the kit lens for the D0 continues to impress me as being very good value.
What you've taken here reminds my of Cedar keys in Florida. An absolute backwater with a couple of great restaurants, right on the gulf. Let me see if I can add a couple of images from there. The last time I was there there was a bent Cessna 152 off to the side of the runway, having landed in the gulf a day or three earlier. No security issues at this airport, btw. The roadway just continues on to the runway, and there are houses off to the side, with their backyards being the airstip, and their front yards being the Gulf Of Mexico. Cool village ... I have a friend who lives not too far from there, and he's spoken about buying a property there to use as a programmers' retreat. g.

For those who know Brissie, it is Oxley Creek, taken from the Pamphlett Bridge at Tennyson. Was negotiating peak hour traffic and the scene looked so peaceful I couldn't pass it by. Your right, Geoff, I don't want to know, happy to improve your morning. Don't be sad though, isn't that why we have our toys?
