back to the jumpswent back to the local jumps with my mates again today to take some pics. i got this one and was a bit bored with the original so i had a play around in photoshop with it. tell me if you think the effect works or not.

I like it.
I try to make the focus bit a bigger and a bit more transition to the swirly bit (technical term). Don't know if it would look better. Chris
Not sure about just a plain radial blur. Personally, the focus in the pic is fine. I'd work on making the bike stand out more than the bkg as it tends to blend in right now.

thanks for the tips guys. piro, i tend to have this problem of losing the subject in the trees but its just the location, cand do to much about it. Are there any ways of photoshopping to make the subject stand out more?

Hey Mate,
great capture, its not the easiest subject to work with. Try watching the background next time, the tree behind takes away the impact of the rider. I think the photoshopped version is too much for my taste, but would probably suit one of the mtb magazines. Good work. Marty What does that button do....??
