thanks Poon & Gary again for great prices & quick efficent service Feels funny not having to put my hand right over the camera body in portrait mode but i am sure i will get use to it I also think having the battery grip with the Vr on tripod will help the balance alot too aussichef aka warren Nikon D50/D80 Nikon,MB-D80 70-200 2.8 VR,Sigma 18-50 2.8, Kenko 1.4x TC, 2 kit lenses ,Nikon 50mm f1.8 Nikon SB-600 Tamron 90mm 2.8 Canon 500D closeup lens

Very quickly! Warren, you're going to run out of space in your signature. I think you kit covers all the bases now (except maybe a macro). Daniel Nikon D4, D2Xs, D70, Nikkors and Sigmas lenses from 10 to 400mm

Daniel my 90mm 2.8 is a macro lens lol all i really need is a 10-20 sigma like the one you have lol What i really need is time to use them enough to get as good as shots as you got on yr NZ trip warren aka aussichef Nikon D50/D80 Nikon,MB-D80 70-200 2.8 VR,Sigma 18-50 2.8, Kenko 1.4x TC, 2 kit lenses ,Nikon 50mm f1.8 Nikon SB-600 Tamron 90mm 2.8 Canon 500D closeup lens

I should have picked that. Then you're kit's complete. (Except for that 800mm f/4 you said I could borrow)
That's an interesting lens. It can be a bit tricky, but very useful in some cases.
It doesn't take long to learn the "Shoot like hell, hope one sticks" technique. Daniel Nikon D4, D2Xs, D70, Nikkors and Sigmas lenses from 10 to 400mm
