I have tried to track down some threads on this lens without much luck.

Yeah, I don't really trust the search engine when searching for lenses... you put in "18-200 VR" and all sorts of unrelated stuff comes up! :)

every time I come here I learn something very basic - ie actually check "equipmentt reviews' when looking for information on equipment reviews.

- too much red wine at dinner tonight I think! :oops:
